Research Award in Basic Neuroscience

Augusto Escalante, former member of our lab, has been awarded by the Institute of Neuroscience Federico Olóriz (Universidad de Granada) with the Research Award in Basic Neuroscience for Young Investigators. The award-winning, titled "Zic2-Dependent Axon Midline Avoidance Controls the Formation of Major Ipsilateral Tracts in the CNS" and published in Neuron, has been presented by Augusto as first author.


Augusto will collected the award in a lecture ceremony that will take place in Granada during the 16th Congress of the Spanish Society of Neuroscience
