Dr. Escalante granted with a Junior Leader fellowship

Dr. Augusto Escalante has been recently awarded with a postdoctoral fellowship to conduct a research project at our Institute, accredited centre with the Severo Ochoa distinction of excellence, within the program Junior Leader Incoming of the La Caixa Foundation.

This grant consists in a postdoctoral contract, with a maximum duration of 3 years, and research project to be developed in our laboratory.

Dr. Escalante defended his PhD Thesis in 2013, and after a 5 year postdoctoral position in the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology (MPIN) in Germany, he will come back to Dr. Herrera laboratory in late September.
